Our brand-spanking new menu has hit the streets!

With the reopening of our Thaikhun restaurants in England and Scotland, what a better time to give you all what you’ve been waiting for, ey?

Our new menu is made to enjoy ‘Samakee’ (meaning together) just as we do at home in Thailand. The best Thai street food is enjoyed when shared amongst all the party with multiple dishes for all to try! So, that's exactly what we’ve done with the development of our new menu.

Kim, the beating heart of our brand, and our talented chefs in the kitchen (shout out to you guys!) have been working hard to create something that everybody will love without compromising on the best bits! Our traditional Thai Green Curry and Massaman Curry are firmly keeping their place as front runners with Chicken Satay and Pad Thai (of course) standing side by side but, with the new arrivals of bold and vibrant flavours, there’s now even more to explore.

From the North of Thailand right down to the South, we have taken inspiration from Thai street food vendors all over the country to give you the best of everything when you visit us at Thaikhun. For those of you have visited Thailand before, you’ll know that hawkers are everywhere so, we must include the ever-popular Hawker Fried Chicken on our stir fry section. Stir fried dishes are so popular in Thailand so we want to make sure ours is the best! Kai Tod, its Thai name, is fried chicken, Thai herbs and crispy garlic with skin on fries. Joining the new arrivals list is also our super tasty Honey Moo (moo meaning pork) - marinated grilled pork, crispy garlic and honey served with sticky rice and a tamarind chilli sauce. Trust us, this one is delicious (aroy mak mak!).

FOMO already kicking in? You can book your table with us here!

Whilst you’re hungry, our Jungle Curry is new to the party! Can you feel it HOT HOT HOT! This new addition is the hottest recipe we’ve got. Without coconut milk, the spice has no retardant in this tasty curry with fresh and juicy papaya, bamboo shoots, carrot, mushroom, green beans, kra chai, spring greens and basil. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Kim and our menu development team regularly visit Thailand to gain a lil’ more inspiration for our new dishes. As a lot of our team and nationally Thai, we know all the best places to go to find our tasty Thai recipes! Kim’s Pad Thai recipe was originally made back when she was little, cooking in the tiny kitchen back in her home town of Kiri Mat with her Mum. This recipe is still used (and loved!) in all our restaurants across our brand! We know… it’s pretty cool right?

Our new small plates, straight off the block from Bangkok, are great to order and share as you go – no rush and no judgement, the more the merrier!

To try out our tasty new sharing menu, whet your appetite by viewing it online and book your table with our team today.

Enjoy!
